01Business and scope

Lumen Title LLC provides title, escrow and real estate closing services in Florida. This policy applies to information obtained through www.lumentitle.com, estimate requests, business inquiries and Facebook or Instagram forms and messages.

Title insurance, escrow and closing files may be subject to additional privacy notices and specific requirements. This website and inquiry policy does not replace those notices or limit rights under applicable law.

02Information you provide

Depending on the service used, information may include your name, email address, telephone number, subject and message. Social media forms may request your professional role and the stage of a planned transaction.

The estimate calculator may request agent contact details, property address, expected closing date, price, costs and other transaction details. If you request an emailed estimate, you may also provide recipient details. Provide another person’s information only when authorized.

Required fields will be identified in the relevant form. Without necessary information, we may be unable to address your request.

03Purposes of use

We will use information to respond to inquiries, prepare requested estimates, explain services, coordinate next steps in a transaction and maintain communications needed to handle it. Information may also be used where necessary to prevent fraud, protect our services, meet legal obligations or address claims.

Business updates will be sent when requested or otherwise validly authorized. Submitting an inquiry does not signify agreement to third-party advertising or, by itself, authorize automated promotional calls or messages. An inquiry does not automatically open a title order or confirm acceptance of a closing.

04Access and disclosure

Access will be limited to authorized Lumen personnel and providers needed to deliver the requested service, such as website hosting, email, inquiry management and technical support. Providers will be required to act within their roles, protect information and refrain from using it for incompatible independent purposes.

When you request that we initiate or coordinate a transaction, we may communicate necessary information to your agents, lenders, title insurers and other relevant participants, consistent with your instructions and applicable law. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or where necessary and permitted to protect rights, prevent fraud or respond to legal proceedings.

This policy prohibits selling information received through business inquiries and lead forms or providing it to third parties for their own marketing. Any additional use requiring consent will be subject to separate authorization before it occurs.

05Facebook, Instagram and advertising

If you submit information through a Facebook or Instagram form or message, Lumen will use it to address your inquiry under this policy. Meta also processes information under its own policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

Submitting a form does not authorize adding your information to third-party advertising lists. Customer-list advertising, cross-site tracking or targeted advertising based on personal information will require the relevant disclosures and choice mechanisms before activation.

06Technical information, cookies and external resources

Your browser transmits technical information when requesting a page or resource, such as an IP address, browser type and request information. The website loads some resources from external content delivery providers, which receive the requests needed to supply them. Technical logs will be used only to operate, maintain and protect the service, subject to the retention limits below.

Cookies store information in your browser. You can configure your browser to block or delete them; some functions may be affected. Before enabling nonessential cookies, advertising analytics or tracking pixels, Lumen must disclose the tools, purposes and recipients and offer the consent or opt-out mechanisms required by applicable law. This policy does not turn ordinary browsing into blanket consent to advertising tracking.

Preferences within Facebook or Instagram are also managed through those platforms’ privacy controls.

07Retention and deletion

Information will be retained for the time needed to address an inquiry, maintain an active service relationship and meet legal, accounting or recordkeeping obligations. Relevant criteria include the collection purpose, request status, time since the last contact, and any claims or retention duties.

Lumen will periodically review information and delete or anonymize data that is no longer needed. Deletion requests will be honored unless there is a legal reason to retain information, in which case its use will be limited to that reason. Closing records will follow the periods applicable to their record category and relevant requirements; business lead retention criteria will not automatically be applied to closing files.

08Information protection

Lumen must apply administrative, technical and physical measures proportionate to the information handled, restrict access by role and require appropriate protection from providers. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

Do not send Social Security numbers, credentials, banking details, identity documents or wire instructions through advertising forms or social media messages. Contact Lumen for the appropriate document exchange channel. Verify wire instructions by calling a known business telephone number before sending funds.

09Requests and preferences

You may email hello@lumentitle.com or call +1 813-331-5212 to ask about your information, request access, correction or deletion, withdraw consent or request that business promotions stop. Explain how we can respond and describe your request without including sensitive financial documents.

Lumen will verify identity proportionately where necessary and respond under applicable time limits, rights and exceptions. If a request cannot be met in whole or in part, Lumen will explain the reason and any applicable review options. Opt-out requests must be applied to the relevant promotional communications; messages needed to handle a transaction or meet a legal obligation may continue. Exercising legally protected rights will not be penalized.

10Children and external services

The services and business forms are intended for adults and real estate professionals. They must not be used to knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so it can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

Links to external services do not mean that Lumen controls their privacy practices. Review those services’ notices before using them.

11Updates

Changes will be posted on this page with their update date. Material changes will be communicated where legally required; if a new use requires consent, it will be obtained before that use begins. A policy change does not, by itself, authorize incompatible uses of information already collected.
